OSPF multi-area with virtual links and IS-IS Redistribution

Abstract— Nowadays, many Internet service providers are established a large OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) area network because of increasing the IP based networks which has situated the focus on the scalability of Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP). In this report we will focus OSPF, OSPF operation and slightly discus about OSPF data structure as well as its area topology. Also, we will show virtual link, IS-IS (Intermediate System-Intermediate System) how we have redistributed between different protocols OSPF and IS-IS. More....
